I’m Denise Leo, one of Australia’s most respected and longest‑established Pomeranian preservation breeders and the founder of Dochlaggie Pomeranians. Over nearly 50 years, I have dedicated myself to exhibiting, breeding, and promoting quality Pomeranians both in Australia and around the world. As a proud member of Dogs Victoria since 1975, I have bred and exhibited over 100 titled champions, with multiple All Breeds and Specialty “Best in Show” winners among them. My dogs are celebrated for their correct breed type, soundness, and outstanding temperaments and have been produced in a wide range of recognised colours, including white, wolf sable, cream sable, orange, orange sable, chocolate, beaver, parti‑colours, black & tan, and black.

Beyond breeding and exhibiting, I am an ANKC‑qualified Pomeranian Championship show judge. Achieving this status means meeting the stringent eligibility requirements set by Dogs Australia—such as holding long‑term membership, breeding several litters, producing or exhibiting at least two champions, and completing a rigorous program of theory and practical exams. As a Single Breed Judge—a designation reserved for breed specialists authorised to judge one breed at championship level—I have judged the Pomeranian internationally, giving me a global perspective on correct type and presentation.
