Join the fun of the Melbourne Pom Meet-Up June 2018 at the Dog Café Boronia. Despite the winter weather, Pomeranian lovers enjoyed a warm, joyful day filled with fluffy dogs, friendly conversations, and community spirit. Discover the highlights and learn about our next Melbourne Pomeranian Picnic.

Despite Melbourne’s famously unpredictable winter weather, the June 2018 Melbourne Pom Meet-Up proved to be a heart-warming success. A wonderfully enthusiastic group of Pomeranian lovers, families, and proud owners gathered at the well-known Dog Café in Boronia for a day filled with laughter, conversation, and, of course, an abundance of fluffy Pomeranians.

The rain and chilly breeze didn’t dampen spirits in the least. In true Pomeranian fashion, the tiny lions arrived with tails wagging, coats beautifully puffed, and personalities on full display. Some were dressed in warm jackets, others sported bows or harnesses, but all were undeniably adorable. The Dog Café provided the perfect cosy setting, complete with indoor areas, warm beverages, and plenty of space for the Poms to socialise, sniff, and show off their charm.

Owners mingled and shared stories about grooming, training, feeding, and the hilarious quirks that make Pomeranians so lovable. Many who attended had been following each other online for months or even years, and this meet-up finally allowed them to connect in person. New friendships were formed—both human and canine—and the atmosphere was filled with positivity and community spirit.

The café staff were exceptionally welcoming and made sure every Pom felt like a VIP guest. Treats were available, water bowls were kept full, and the team didn’t mind one bit that dozens of tiny fluffballs trotted around like they owned the place. Several attendees took the opportunity to snap photos, capturing the joyful chaos of a room full of excited Pomeranians.

One of the highlights of the day was seeing how well the dogs interacted. From confident extroverts to shy little fluffballs who preferred staying close to their owners, every Pom was part of the fun. Puppies tumbled around the play area while the older Poms observed with wise, fluffy dignity.

The Melbourne Pom Meet-Up of June 2018 will be remembered as a delightful day that celebrated everything wonderful about the Pomeranian breed—community, companionship, and endless fluff. Despite the weather, the event proved that when Pomeranian people come together, the sun always shines just a little brighter.
